Chances are, you haven’t heard of ESN and that’s because it has been phased out a long time ago, with its last assignment being back in 2010. Now, I need help regarding in how to get the device serial number, the device serial number isn't present in the box BTW, and, if it is possible, please analyse an actual serial number and check what values it is made up of, like, the middle/last numbers of both the IMEI numbers or please help me figure this out, you were extremely helpful previously regarding this matter. The common ground between IMEI, MEID (Mobile Equipment Identifier) and ESN (Electronic Serial Number) is the fact that they are all device identifiers. I recently did an SP flash tool restore and decided to try 'Format all+Download' which ended up wiping the device imei and serial number, is there any way that I can get my serial number, I already have the IMEI on the original box of the phone, but, the serial number that is found when you do adb list devices is now '0123456789ABCDEF', this is incorrect, as the serial number started with 'FRT' and had a bunch on numbers., then I decided to ask Nokia support chat thrice, but, they denied to provide it, and, since if I restore the imei info without the serial number with a tool, the device doesn't boot, using a dummy one causes the device to start and then immediately reboot saying that internal errors were the cause.
